Traditional Chinese Medicine
Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is a complete, holistic medical system of diagnosis and treatment that offers an alternative or complement to Western medicine's focus-on-the-problem, reductionist approach. TCM is the primary healthcare system of 20% of the world's population, used in China for thousands of years to prevent illness and maintain health by correcting disturbances in the body's vital energy, or chi. Since the emphasis in TCM is on promoting overall physical, mental and emotional well-being, it is often effective as a preventative healthcare treatment.
The practitioner will make a diagnosis based on the functioning of the whole body — by examining, among other things the pulse and the tongue. After this assessment the physician may recommend a combination of acupuncture, herbal medicine, Tui'Na (Chinese massage).
Ideal for alleviating the symptoms of a problem by bringing the body's systems into balance. This is extremely effective for skin problems, digestion, hay fever and other allergies, PMS, menopause, low energy and chronic fatigue, migraine, infertility, and other health issues. Suitable for almost any condition.

Acupuncture
Acupuncture is a holistic and relaxing therapy, based on restoring health through removing blockages to the body's vital energy (chi). The therapist brings balance and promotes the flow of vital energy and removes blockages by stimulating therapeutic points along the channels (meridians) through which this energy flows. This is done through the use of thin, sterile, needles placed at a bespoke combination of points, according to the ailment being treated. Most people feel only a tiny pinch from the needle followed by a deep relaxation, generally allowing you to experience the benefits of treatment very quickly. As acupuncture works holistically, a course of several treatments is recommended to receive maximum benefits.
Ideal for conditions involving the function of the body's organ systems, including menstrual problems, menopause, skin conditions, asthma, headaches, digestive disturbances, or for general detoxification and when giving up smoking/alcohol. Also excellent for releasing muscle tension or stress, or for healing injuries and highly effective for psychologically-related conditions like insomnia, the effects of stress-related conditions, and for improving overall well-being. It is suitable for almost any client.
